"Doctor is a holy profession. Amidst all the sacrifice and challenges, it is the most fulfilling profession. In this sense, I have the best profession in the world," said Dr. Paritosh Ballal, an assistant professor of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery of Jayadeve Institute, Bangalore . He was speaking as a resource person during the orientation session on cracking NEET at Excellent Science and Commerce Pre-university College Moodubidire.
Answering another student’s question on how to avoid burnout when the goal is big, the doctor suggested dividing goals into multiple small goals instead of getting overwhelmed by big goals. "Looking for an ideal person will also inspire and help overcome it. With these techniques, the big goal of cracking NEET seems less daunting."
On the question of a settled life, the doctor advised the students not to work for the sake of money. "Money naturally comes with time. But," he suggested, "work to change people's lives."
The chairman, Yuvaraja Jain, secretary Rashmitha Jain, administrative director Dr. B. P. Sampath Kumar, and principal Pradeep Kumar Shetty were present. Vinolia Priyanka compered the program and proposed the vote of thanks.
